One more year, the Basque Reading Club (Irakurle Kluba) has been organized in Barcelona, and will analyze works from Basque literature, from October 25 to May 23. The initiative of the readers of the Etxepare Basque Institute (UB and UAB), HABE, the Official Language Schools and the Euskal Etxea will delve into the work of eight Basque authors.

The presentation of the cycle was held on October 25, and the next session will be held tomorrow, November 22, with the work Zeru Horiek by Bernardo Atxaga, in the Biblioteca Esquerra de l´Eixample-Agustí Centelles.

The following sessions will analyze works by: Itxaro Borda (100% Basque), Miren Agur Meabe (Kristalezko begi bat), Karmele Jaio (Amaren eskuak), Lourdes Oñederra (Eta emakumeari sugeak esan zion), Eider Rodriguez (Eta handik gutxira gaur) and Kirmen Uribe (Bitartean heldu eskutik).

Although the books are originally written in Euskara, translations will also be used so that those who do not speak the language can participate in the club.
