Following the involvement of neighboring -they created a campaign of crowdfunding and small aeolias were sold to finance the largest one - and the Town Hall, the sculpture will remain in the city after having been exposed in the Kunstsommer festival.
Eolo has left a wake of life from The Basque Country all the way to Wiesbaden. The avenue, Schwalbacher Straße, awakens, grooved by a giant winged seed, Aeolia, trapped in its flight toward this territory, to settle and germinate. The chosen spot, with a pronounced cultural and territorial division, highlights the need for union between both worlds. To this end Pilar Soberón speaks to us of the plasticity of movement, of transit and mutation; Conditions inherent to the living being, animal and vegetable. It seems as if the God Eolo, had ceased blowing and the golden seed thereby freeze-framed in sinuous movement through space, proclaiming itself as a reference.
A Congress about Eduardo Chillida will be held at the Goethe Universitat of Frankfurt, due to the Eudoardo Chilida Chair.
