"Danbor Talka", succesful at Libourne

The show Danbor Talka, which was performed on August 8, succeded at the Fest´Arts. The spectacle created by the Basque company  Deabru Beltzak and the French Les Commandos Percu, gathered more than 6000 spectators to enjoy their percussion and pyrotechnics. The work has been created with the mediation of the Etxepare Basque Institute.

Drummers, actors and pyro-technicians crossed the audience to reach the stage producing intense feelings among viewers. At the show that lasts about an hour, the two companies represent their cultures in a crash that results in a performance full of energy. The show will soon cross the Atlantic Ocean.

"Danbor talka" was also represented at the International Street Theatre Festival of Lekeitio in July. This year, three other Basque companies have also participated in the Fest´arts: En la Lona, Ertza and Organik.
