EH Sona: Olatz Salvador
Euskara. Kultura. Mundura.
The Euskal Herria Sona festival in Barcelona is about to begin. From 6 November until 10 December, concerts by five Basque groups will be held in Barcelona. This year will be the 23rd edition of the biggest Basque music festival outside the Basque Country.
The Euskal Etxea of Barcelona is the prime mover behind the festival, which takes place at the Basque centre itself as well as at other recognised venues in the city, with support from the Etxepare Basque Institute. On 12 November, Olatz Salvador will give a concert at 10pm at the Artesà Tradicionàrius Centre.
The singer-songwriter from San Sebastian will present her latest album, ´Aho uhal´, produced by musician Pablo Novoa and recorded and mixed by Haritz Harreguy. Salvador comes with an elaborate 12-song project, featuring contributions by Alaia Martin and Ane Labaka on lyrics and Rozalén and Iván Ferreiro on vocals.
