Plaça de la Múdia / 8pm
Harrobi Dantza Bertikala Konpainia + Oreka TX, ‘Dendu’
In Basque, Dendu is synonymous with balance. The vertical dance of Harrobi and the sound of the txalaparta of Oreka Tx join forces in pursuit of this balance. The equilibrium is both physical (on the vertical plane the dancers suspended from the wall are in contrast with the txalaparta players on the horizontal plane) and symbolic (nature vs. city, traditional vs contemporary).
L’Anònima / 11pm
#mauriziakezdauinorhil
Basque creators from different disciplines have come together in a live performance inspired in new formats and digital Basque folklore – based on the traditional songs and imagination of Maurizia Aldeiturriaga. The first tambourine player who played and sang in popular pilgrimages and parades, Aldeiturriaga is a veritable a symbol of Basque folklore. L’Anònima is a project that uses new technologies to revive ancestral stories.
