Korrontzi
The folk music band Korrontzi (Euskal Herria, 2004) was created by trikitixa (Basque diatonic accordion) player Agus Barandiaran. His goal is to infuse Basque folk music and the ancient traditional sounds of his region with a more modern and contemporary feel from the perspective of music based on the trikitixa and other traditional instruments such as the txalaparta or the alboka.
