The magazine, published by the Basque Studies program of the Boise State University, is a multi-disciplinary, peer-reviewed, open-access academic publication dedicated to the scholarly study of all aspects of Basque culture.

The magazine has also communicated that the deadline to submit proposals for the following volume will be open until August 1 2015. That will be the 3rd edition of the magazine, and the proposals have to be sent by email.

On the other hand, they are organizing the  “Joan-etorri Basque Studies Symposium”  a symposium in the days leading up to Jaialdi this coming July, which you can join. The immediate themes coalesce around the 40th anniversaries of the publication of the book Amerikanuak and Boise State Oñati program.

Finally, in collaboration with the Center for Basque Studies (University of Nevada, Reno) the Basque Studies at Boise State University is sponsoring the 2nd annual Basque Literary Writing Contest.  This is an effort to encourage more nonacademic writing–fiction and non-fiction–in English on Basque related subjects.
