With the aim of promoting Basque music, the Etxepare Basque Institute and the Spanish Society of Performers have strengthened their cooperation agreement, signed by Miren Arzalluz, director of the Etxepare Institute, and Jose Luis Sevillano, director of AIE.
The agreement will strengthen the presence of Basque groups. Among other things, it will try to emphasize Basque production at state level, facilitate frameworks for the expression of new artistic values and enable artist exchanges between different autonomous regions of Spain.
There are two ways of signing up for the project: by sending your work physically or on-line. The Artistas En Ruta committee meets twice a year, with the next meeting on 5 April. All material sent will be valid for three calls: proposals that are not accepted the first time can be evaluated in the next two.
