Westway LAB: Basque. Music.

Basque. Music. will be at the 10th Westway LAB festival held in Guimarães, Portugal, from April 12th to 15th with the groups La Furia, Ezpalak and Ghau.

Basque. Music., the platform dedicated to raising the international profile of Basque music, is promoted by Musika Bulegoa, the Etxepare Basque Institute and the Basque Government.

La Furia and Ghau will participate in an artistic residency the week before the festival. The two groups will work with local musicians and present the result of the residency on the 12th and 13th of April.

Ezpalak and La Furia will also take part in the showcases at the festival. Ezpalak will perform on April 15th at 6pm and La Furia will perform the same day at 10.15pm in the CCVF building.

The three-days Westway LAB festival will bring together professionals from all areas of the international music industry.

This is the first time Basque. Music. will take part in the event. Their participation is  the result of collaboration with Portuguese professionals at the 2022 BIME fair in Bilbao.
