The University of Birmingham has announced the  4th Basque, Catalan and Galician Cinema Season that will be held at the Library of Birmingham on 8th, 13th and 15th May. The initiative attempts to promote the reality and cultural production of the Basque Country, Catalonia and Galicia, and bring them closer to the people of the West Midlands. All films will be projected in original version with English subtitles, and we will be joined by the directors of the films, who will be answering questions about their works after the screenings.

The activity has been organized thanks to the support of the Etxepare Basque Institute -and the work done by Gorka Mercero-, the Basque Language and culture reader at the University of Birmingham- , the Institut Ramon Llull, the Xunta de Galicia and the University of Birmingham.
