An End to the Basque Conflict? seminar tomorrow in Liverpool

Organized by the Department of Basque Studies at the University of Liverpool, and within the program of the Manuel Irujo Fellowship created by the Etxepare Basque Institute, tomorrow, March 26, the university will host a seminar entitled An End to the Basque Conflict? This is actually the last activity of the Fellowship this year, in its first edition that has been led by Xabier Irujo (University of Nevada, Reno).
The seminar will devote an entire day to the analysis of the origin of the Basque conflict and the reasons that complicate their resolution, featuring a number of experts in the field: Xabier Irujo (University of Nevada, Reno), Iñigo Urrutia (UPV-EHU), Kevin Bean (University of Liverpool), Richard Gillespie (University of Liverpool) Amaia Agirre (Agirre Center for Social and Political Studies) and Juan Jose Ibarretxe, former Lehendakari (Agirre Center for Social and Political Studies). The seminar will also be attended by Mari Jose Olaziregi, director for the Promotion and Dissemination of Euskera of the Etxepare Basque Institute.
This is a collective event of the Faculty of History, Language and Culture, in collaboration with the University of the Basque Country and Agirre Lehendakaria Center.
