Basque culture, protagonist at the University of La Plata

The agenda of the University of La Plata is full of Basque culture for the month of November; several activities related to the readership of the Etxepare Basque Institute have been organized at the University. Experts from various fields will offer lectures related to Basque culture.
To start with the program, on Monday November 3, within the Conferencias sobre cultura vasca (Lectures on Basque culture) , Daniel Oiarbide, reader of Basque language and culture at the UNLP, will give a talk at the micro-cinema of the Cultural Center of the Falkand Islands. The following day, November 4, the Basque writer Fito Rodriguez will give a lecture entitled “Writing in Basque: an approach to contemporary Basque literature” in the class B of the Faculty of Economics of the UNLP, at 18:00.
On Wednesday November 5th the conference entitled País Vasco: claves del independentismo vasco del siglo XXI will be offered by Txutxi Ariznabarreta. In addition, on December 8 the college will host the visit of the Minister of Education, Culture and Language Policy of the Basque Government Cristina Uriarte. She will visit the readership of the Etxepare Basque Institute at UNLP.
Finally, on 12 November, it will be the turn of illustration: Chatting with Elena Odriozola. Participants will meet the Basque illustrator and his work. (Room A of the Faculty of Economics at the UNLP at 16:00).
