Call now open for Basque candidates to participate in BIME Bogotá 2024

BASQUE.MUSIC., in collaboration with BIME, is launching a call for bands or soloists from the Basque Country to take part in the third edition of BIME Bogotá, from May 8 to 11, 2024, in the Colombian capital. To participate in the call for proposals, please fill in this form by January 15, 2024, at 23:59.

The bands are selected solely and exclusively by BIME´s programming team. BASQUE.MUSIC. will be responsible for spreading the word once the selected proposal for participation has been confirmed.

The selected artist or band will also have the chance to engage and collaborate with professionals from all sectors of the music industry during the three-day event.

The selected musician(s) will perform a showcase at BIME Bogotá, to be held in Bogota, Colombia, from 8 to 11 May 2024.

BASQUE.MUSIC. will allocate funds to cover the costs of this concert under the following terms and conditions (in Spanish): BASQUE.MUSIC. 2024.

Apart from the showcase performances, the selected musician(s) will also have access to accreditations that provide entry to the professional event programming, allowing them to take advantage of additional benefits (maximum 4 accreditations per selected project). They will also take part in a BIME Co-creation Session.

BASQUE. MUSIC. is coordinated by Musika Bulegoa in collaboration with the Etxepare Basque Institute and the Basque Government. The project’s objective is to enhance awareness and international visibility of the Basque creative, cultural and artistic scene, along with Basque cultural and creative industries.
