Bitamine Faktoria calls: artistic stay in Buenos Aires

Bitamine Faktoria has published an open call directed to artistic projects for artists who live and work in Euskal Herria With this announcement, recipients will have the chance to make a stay with the aim of internationalizing Basque contemporary art through research projects. The work process will be from May to October 2015 and the stay at home will last one month in November 2015.

Work on the project will be done at the headquarters of the Association of Artists Artitadetó for 6 months and then the finished project will be presented in Buenos Aires in different areas related to the current contemporary culture.

Besides, a calendar of activities will be scheduled in conjunction with local institutions in which the artists will have different participations in halls, museums, cultural centers and galleries, such as panel discussions, debates, workshops, meetings and group work with local significant artists, which will give the person an artistic and experimental experience that can make the most out of both their career and their training and research process.

The artistic and cultural fields to which this program is directed are not restricted to specific disciplines and include, among others, arts, visual arts, performance, urban intervention, design, sound art, etc.
