On July 8 and 9, the 10th edition of the ‘Bikaintasuna Euskal Ikasketetan’ (´Excellence in Basque Studies´) summer course was held at the Miramar Palace in Donostia. This activity, organized by the Etxepare Basque Institute in collaboration with the UPV/EHU Summer Courses, aims to train the readership instructors who teach Basque language and culture in foreign universities.

For the first time, this two-day course was offered face-to-face and online. The main theme this year was diversity, with participants analyzing how this phenomenon contributes to the teaching of Basque culture and language abroad. Several experts in the field were invited, and each added their perspective. The aim was to train instructors to search for excellence in teaching Basque language and culture.
