Minor actors do not exist. At least not in the case of Alex Angulo. An accident took his life yesterday, at age 61, and Basque cinema and scene will hardly ever fill the unexpected and painful gap he has just left. Alex Angulo was such as authentic and excellent supporting actor that he used to shine as bright as the leading one. And he was also a person that standed out for his extraordinary kindness.
We often saw him playing the role of an ordinary man who did unbelievable things. He too was amazing, but he was far from ordinary. Good-bye from the heart, Alex. Eskerrik asko.
