The Basque cinema cycle CINEVASC in La Plata

The Readership of Basque Language and Culture of the UNLP (La Plata) has organized the Basque Film Series CINEVASC. In this cycle a total of four Basque films will be screened from 6 to 27 June: Amama, Gure Sor Lekuaren Bila, Asier eta Biok and Pikadero. The aim of this film series is to spread the Basque cinema in the city of La Plata inserting it in the local agenda.
Next Monday, June 13, at 18: 00 the film GURE SOR LEKUAREN BILA be screened at the Municipal Theater Select of the Dardo Rocha Cultural Center. This film is the second of the Basque Film Series CINEVASC, organized by the readership.
The documentary directed by Josu Martinez, that narrates the exciting search for the first film in Euskera (Basque language), will be screened in original version with subtitles in Spanish. Admission is free.
CINEVASC started last June 6 with the screening of the film AMAMA in a crowded Select room. Viewers also enjoyed a subsequent discussion with the leading actress of the film Iraia Elias.
