The Puppet Centre Topic has been awarded for their educational work

The International Puppet Centre of Tolosa, Topic, has received the Rosa María García Cano Award for its work in promoting puppets and marionettes. The jury wanted to emphasize the educational work of the group, both in this discipline training for all ages, and in their educational techniques in general.


Rosa María Cano Awards are organized by Civitas, and want to give public recognition to the trajectory of individuals, groups or institutions that have supported initiatives related to the performing arts. The awards ceremony will be held on August 27 at the Montarlo Palace.

This is not the first time the association from Tolosa receives an award for their work: in 2013 the “Observatorio Iberoamericano de Museos”, chose them as winners of  the “III Premio Iberoamericano de Educación y Museos”. 86 proyects of 12 different countries took part in the competition.
