Some other Basque experts have been invited to the event: Miren Ibarluzea, on May 20; Iban Zaldua, on June 3; and Mari Jose Olaziregi, on July 1.

The speakers will talk about current translation and literature. They will discuss on intercultural exchanges and ideologies, and power relations behind literary systems.

Iban Zaldua will explain the decisions you have to make as a writer, based in his essay “Ese idioma raro y poderoso” (Lengua de trapo, 2012). The writer will also take part in a reading of the German translation of his most famous stories.
