Arantxa Urretabizkaia speaks on Basque literature and cinema to the students of the Freie Universität Berlin

As a result of joint work between the Etxepare Basque Institute and the Mintzanet platform , the group Maramara * Basque artists and promoters are offering training sessions, live from the Basque Country to the Basque Language and Culture students of the Institute in international universities.

The purpose of this project is to enrich the academic training offered at the Institute lectureships at 35 international universities. These virtual classes are taught since April 4 through Mintzanet platform, which was  created to offer the opportinuty to practice the Basque language through Internet .

To date writers Mark Kurlansky , Eider Rodriguez and Itxaro Borda, and teachers Ivan Igartua and Iñaki Martínez de Luna have already offered training sessions to students of several universities in France, USA, Poland, Czech Republic, Catalonia and Germany . Today is the turn of the writer Arantxa Urretabizkaia, who will speak on cinema and literature to the students of the Freie Universität in Berlin . The remaining classes in this first season will be given by the writers Karmele Jaio and Unai Elorriaga and bertsolari Miren Amuriza,  that will contact students at the universities the Konstanz Universität (Germany ), Masarykova Univerzita in Brno (Czech Republic) and Alma Mater Studiorum in Bologna (Italy ), respectively.
