Artistas en Ruta 2026: Arima Soul

Arima Soul will take part in the second 2026 cycle of AIEnRUTa-Artistas. The programme run by AIE is a live music circuit designed to promote emerging talent and bring new artists to audiences through concerts at venues and festivals across Spain.

Etxepare Basque Institute collaborates with the programme to support the presence of Basque musicians in its two annual calls. Arima Soul has been selected for the September–December 2026 cycle, alongside Sara Zozaya and Bengo.

Formed in Zarautz in 2020, Arima Soul blends soul, R&B, funk and jazz-groove, with original songs in Basque playing a prominent role in its repertoire. Created by musician and producer Mikel Makala and singer Lidia Insausti, the project released its second album, Gaua, through Subterfuge Records in 2025.
