"Badu Bada", the exhibition about Basque Language in Bilbao

Badu Bada exhibition, produced by San Telmo Museum in Donostia with the support of the Etxepare Basque Institute, has then been already shown in Donostia, Baiona and Vitoria-Gasteiz. Alhóndiga Bilbao hosts the exhibit now, from Februay 24 to May 5.

Basque language is the only living witness of the ancient Indo-European languages, as it is prior to their arrival in Europe (about 4400 BC). When Latin was imposed across Europe, the Basque language remained alive. Later, there was an expansion of Romance languages inheritors of Latin, but Basque-speaking people have preserved their language. Want to know more?
