Barcelona hosted the recital "Poetes Itinerants" with Rikardo Arregi, Iñigo Astiz and Itxaro Borda

As a result of the collaborative work between the Etxepare Basque Institute and the Institut Ramon Llull , Basque and Catalan poets offered a bilingual recital yesterday May 28 at 18:00 at the headquarters of the Institut Llull in Barcelona. The Basque poetry was represented by RikardoArregi, Iñigo Astiz andItxaro Borda, while the Catalan poets were Mireia Calafell, Jordi Juliá and Jordi Llavina.

ÀlexSusanna, director of the Institut Ramon Lull, AizpeaGoenaga, director of the Etxepare Basque Institute and MariJoseOlaziregi, director for the Promotion and Dissemination of the Basque Language attended the event as well.

This project includes also a return trip: next Autumn the Basque and Catalan poets will meet again, this time in the Basque Country, in a recital that will take place at the Tabakalera center in Donostia.
