Basking Beat & Bite: Merina Gris + MIRUA + SUA + IDOIA

A new edition of Basking Beat & Bite will take place on 29 August, with simultaneous concerts in Miami, Santiago de Chile, Helsinki and Tbilisi. The programme will bring together four acts from the contemporary Basque music scene: Merina Gris, MIRUA, SUA and IDOIA.

SUA will perform at Storyville Jazz Club in Helsinki; IDOIA, at the headquarters of the Colectividad Vasca de Chile, in Santiago; Merina Gris, at Black Box Media in Miami; and MIRUA, at Tbilisi Art Palace. The four venues will be connected via live streaming, allowing audiences in each city to follow the concerts taking place at the other locations.

The programme will also include a new edition of Basque Gastronomic Week, running from 26 to 30 August. Participating chefs include Beñat Ormaetxea in Miami, Ricardo Pérez in Santiago de Chile, Fernando González in Helsinki and Guillermo Fernández in Tbilisi, working in collaboration with local establishments in each city.
