Basque Audiovisual brand in international fairs: a showcase in the world for 54 companies in the audiovisual sector

One more year, BASQUE AUDIOVISUAL that represents the Basque audiovisual sector, will have a significant presence in major international fairs. Thanks to the joint work of the Basque audiovisual cluster EIKEN, promoter of the brand, and the Etxepare Basque Institute, this project continues to progress in the search of the internationalization and new business ways for the Basque audiovisual sector. To that end, BASQUE AUDIOVISUAL will have its own stand at various international fairs over the coming months:
MIPTV (Cannes). April 4-7. The most important fair of television and digital content.
SUNNY SIDE OF THE DOC. (La Rochelle). June 20-23. International Fair of the documentary.
MIPCOM (Cannes). October 17-20. Global market for entertainment contents in all formats.
In addition, the Etxepare Basque Institute will again offer grants to the companies so that they can cope with the costs of attending fairs (travel, accreditation , accommodation and per diems).

MIPTV in Cannes, starting on April
The MIPTV trade show will open its doors at the Palais des Festivals in Cannes (France) next week.
This opportunity is very important for Basque companies in order to find financing channels, establish partnerships and open the door to new business ideas. The fair will bring together producers, broadcasters and media companies from over 100 countries around the world, present in more than 1,600 booths. The number of professionals registered exceeds the figure of 11,000; 4,000 of them are buyers of products for television.
BASQUE AUDIOVISUAL booth will have a great location in the fair –Riviera builiding, number R7.E67-, and serve as a hub for the eight Basque companies will attend the event: Baleuko, Expressive Media Projects, Happymeter, JOK Films, Pausoka Entertainment, Media Prime Time, The Blackout Project and EITB.
At the stand, representatives of EIKEN and the Etxepare Basque Institute who will perform tasks of dissemination among international professionals of the del Basque Audiovisual Catalogue Basque Audiovisual Catalog and make contacts for the 54 Basque companies that compose it. They will also serve as a support for Basque companies assisting and coordinate the meetings and events that will take place in their space.
