Basque cinema at Different 12! in Paris

The Basque Cinema will once again be present at the 12th edition of Different 12!, a film festival celebrated in Paris. The festival, which runs from 17th to 24th June, will feature Oreina (2018) by the Basque filmmaker Koldo Almandoz. The director and two of the main actors, Patxi Bisquert and Ramon Agirre, will attend the festival to present their work.

In addition to the Basque films, the other films being screened include: Buñuel en el laberinto de las tortugas (Salvador Simó, 2019), O que arde (Oliver Laxe, 2019), Los días que vendrán (Carlos Marqués-Marcet, 2019), Ana de día (Andrea Jaurrieta, 2018), Love me not (Lluís Miñarro, 2019), Staff Only (Neus Ballús, 2019), Diana (Alejo Moreno, 2018) and Jaulas (Nicolás Pacheco, 2018).
Three Basque production companies will be presenting their films at the Small is Beautiful professional forum which meets on June 26th: Irusoin with his film 3.000 obstáculos (Agustí Villaronga), Sonora Estudios with Cada quince días (Ione Hernández), and Kowalski Films and La Zona with La consagración de la primavera (Fernando Franco).
