Basque cinema in Budapest: the short films of Kimuak and Loreak

The Basque short films screenings of Kimuak, held in the Cervantes Institute of Budapest, will come to an end today. They have screened the selectios of Basque short films of 2014 and 2015 in original version, and known and new directors have participated; the selection of 2014 includes: A serious comedy by Lander Camarero, Anómalo by Aitor Gutiérrez, Don Miguel by Kote Camacho, Hubert Le Blonen azken hegaldia by Koldon Almandor, Sailor’s Grave by the result of a collaboration, Soroa by Asier Altuna and I bought it in Zarautz by Aitor Arregi.
On the other hand, on 2015 the short films selected were: 5 segundos by David González, A revenge story by Lander Camarero, Duellum by Tucker Dávila, Foxes by Mikel Gurrea, I said I would never talk about politics by Aitor Oñederra, Lost villages by George Todria and Luz a la deriva by Iñigo Salaberria.
The reader of Hungry of the Etxepare Basque Institute, Oxel-Uribe Etxeberria Lete, has organised this events, and after the screenings, he has led an interactive discussion.
Moreover, the cycle of Cinema Paradiso 2016 will last until March 11 in the Grand Café cinema of Szeged. Loreak will representing the Basque cinema.
