Basque companies at the audiovisual fair MIPCOM
Euskara. Kultura. Mundura.
Basque companies of the field of audiovisual production are in Cannes these days, participating in the renowned audiovisual fair MIPCOM, thanks to the project Basque Audiovisual , created by the Etxepare Basque Institute and the cluster EIKEN. In the last few days, Cannes has lived the hardest inundations of the last 25 years; but finally, the fair, essential for Basque producers to reach foreign markets, will be open on October 5-8.
This time 8 Basque companies will join the fair: Basque Stream, EiTB, Euskaltel, Expressive Media Projects, JOK Films, Pausoka Entertainment, Prime Time Media and Sugar Factory. Besides, Basque audiovisual production travelled to the city with good news: JOK Films was selected among the 5 finalists to take part at the pitching of MIPJunior, a meeting point for professionals of children-aimed TV contents, thanks to the project “Mike’s Mysteries”.
Basque Audiovisual is the brand that represents Basque audiovisual companies, and has a stand at the fair, where Basque companies can show their works and meet other professionals annually.
