Basque Doc: Basque documentary film online

Basque Doc is a new platform that brings together audiovisual content revolving around Basque themes, and features Basque documentaries via a YouTube channel. Headed by Maria Vallejo, the project is aimed at uploading documentaries and productions that the public cannot find through other channels.

Basque Doc is a new platform that brings together audiovisual content revolving around Basque themes, and features Basque documentaries via a YouTube channel. Headed by Maria Vallejo, the project is aimed at uploading documentaries and productions that the public cannot find through other channels.

Coinciding with the 80th anniversary of the Guernica bombing, a range of material on the subject has been recently uploaded. For example, you can now see Alberto Rojo´s documentary "Gernika: Bonbardaketa - El Bombardeo - The Story" (produced by Idem4) in a trilingual version; in fact, this is the first time the documentary can be seen in English.

The film includes experiences told by survivors, an analysis of images and videos, expert opinions, and testimonies of the pilots ... Based on historical facts, the documentary reconstructs the bombing through virtual images.
