Basque groups ON, Niña Coyote eta Chico Tornado, Rubia and Maizenita, selected for Artistas en Ruta

Four Basque groups are included among the music bands that will take part at the first semester of 2016 of the program "Artistas en Ruta". Thanks to the agreement between AIE and the Etxepare Basque Institute ON –the last project of Pello Ramirez and Xabier Zeberio-, Niña Coyote eta Chico Tornado and the rock group Rubia will be performing in several venues.

This program selects some music proposals and gives them the chance to perform in live music venues during a semester. The list, designed by a jury, is renewed twice a year. 

In addition to "Artistas en Ruta," AIE also opens other lines of collaboration that allow some of the groups that have taken part at the program to perform in new circuits. Thanks to the collaboration between AIE and D’Orfeu, Basque musician Xabier Aburruzaga will perform within the circuit OuTonalidades 2015, in Portugal: Tondela (October 13), Penedono (Octobre 14) and Famalicão da Serra (October 15).
