Bilbao-New-York-Bilbao in English: Kirmen Uribe in the UK

October 20th goes on sale the English edition of the novel by Kirmen Uribe Bilbao-New York-Bilbao (Spanish Literature Prize in 2009). The novel has been published by Seren Books and translated from the Basque by New York writer Elizabeth Macklin. Moreover, Kirmen Uribe is going to participate in different events in England, with the help of the Etxepare Basque Institute.
On Wednesday October 15th and Thursday 16th will give conferences at the prestigious universities of Oxford and King´s College in London. The presentation of the novel to the general public will be Friday 17th at the Free Word Lecture Theatre of the Free Word Centre in London, where he will be accompanied by his editor Mick Felton. Finally, Uribe will perform a recital of poetry during the Language Show Live Fair in London, and show a short film, "Urrezko eraztuna" (Golden ring), by the filmmaker Jon Garaño, based on a Uribe´s poem.
