Different 14: El radioaficionado, Maixabel, Destello bravío

The Cervantes Institute in Paris will celebrate the 14th edition of Different! L’autre cinéma espagnol from 15 to 19 June. This long-standing festival showcases the year’s most outstanding films. The line-up will include three projects by Basque filmmakers made possible with support from the Etxepare Basque Institute: ‘El radioaficionado’, ‘Maixabel’ and ‘Destello bravío’. Tickets are available at the Majestic Passy cinema.

In addition to these three films, the programme will also include ´Alegría’, ‘Espíritu sagrado’, ‘Sis dies corrents’, ‘Josefina’ and ‘Cuñados’.

Sound engineer Eva Valiño will present ‘Destello bravío’ on 16 June at 9pm in the Cervantes Institute auditorium. On 18 June, director Iker Elorrieta will accompany his film ‘‘El radioaficionado’, and on the 19th, Iciar Bollain’s ‘Maixabel’ will be screened at 7pm. All three films will be shown in the Cervantes auditorium.
