Donostia 2016, Tabakalera and the Etxepare Institute will attend ARCOmadrid

The representatives of the management teams of Donostia- San Sebastián 2016 - Pablo Berástegui-, the Etxepare Basque Institute -Aizpea Goenaga- and Tabakalera, International Contemporary Culture Centre - Ane Rodriguez- , will hold a meeting in ARCOmadrid(ARCO Foundation Room, IFEMA, Hall 9) next February 26, at 18.00, in order to present the contemporary art projects that the three institutions develop together.
To that purpose, they will have the help of María Mur, director of the consonni producer from Bilbao that will focus on presenting the project LaPublika (research laboratory of artistic public sphere) and Aimar Arriola. Arriola is part of Equipo Re, who develops the project Anarchivo Sida (project that proposes mapping aesthetic and performative practices and collective experiences on the "AIDS crisis" from the 80s until today). Both are co-produced by DSS2016EU and Tabakalera, and are part of the Pagadi Dock program of the European Capital of Culture for the development of contemporary art.
In addition, the meeting will also focus on Back and forth artistic residencies developed by DSS2016EU, Etxepare and Donostia Kultura to promote the exchange of artists.
