Etxepare will be at the City University of New York symposium on cultural policies

The Graduate Center of CUNY – City University of New York – is hosting a symposium on cultural policies on October 20, and the organizers have invited Garbiñe Iztueta, director for the Promotion and Dissemination of the Basque Language at the Etxepare Basque Institute, to take part.

The Graduate Center of CUNY – City University of New York – is hosting a symposium on cultural policies on October 20, and the organizers have invited Garbiñe Iztueta, director for the Promotion and Dissemination of the Basque Language at the Etxepare Basque Institute, to take part.

The Graduate Center has invited organizers of cultural activities from Argentina, Chile, Galicia, the Basque Country and Catalonia to discuss the challenges of introducing culture from different countries and regions to the US and other countries.

Speakers will include Eduardo Almirantearena (Consulate of Argentina, New York), Roberto Brodsky (Embassy of Chile, Washington), Josep Anton Fernández (Institut Ramon Llull, Catalonia), Emilia García López (Consello da Cultura Galega, Galicia), and Garbiñe Iztueta (Etxepare Basque Institute, Basque Country).
