Fira Tàrrega: La Dramática Errante + Lökke

Thanks to the partnership between the Etxepare Basque Institute and the performing arts fair ´Fira de Teatre al Carrer de Tárrega´, two Basque companies, La Dramática Errante and Lökke, will be participating in the upcoming Fira Tàrraga event from September 7th to 10th this year. La Dramática Errante will present the play ´Altsasu´ in two performances, and Lökke will offer five performances of the street dance show ´Doppleganger´. Basque. Performing Arts., organised by the Basque Government, will also have a stand at the fair.

At 2pm on Saturday, 9th September, there will be a presentation of the Basque companies, with Aitziber Atorrasagasti, Director for the Promotion of Culture of the Basque Government, and Alex Aginagalde, Etxepare Basque Institute culture technician. 35 representatives of the Basque performing arts (members of companies, distributors, festival programmers...) have signed up for this year´s edition.

Established in 1981, the festival has evolved into an exceptional platform for the performing arts. This transformation is attributed to its diverse programme, which places particular emphasis on street arts and engaging with the public. It has become a meeting point for the performing arts at both the national and international level.
