Kimuak 2015 short films selected

Seven short films have been selected for the 2015 catalogue of Kimuak among 54 proposals submitted.

This year, the jury has been formed by: Amaia Serulla- Member of the Selection Committee of the San Sebastian International Film Festival and Coordinator of the International Film Students Meeting- ; Luisma González -Director of ALCINE, The Alcalá De Henares Film Festival- Mari Fran Machín – Education and Activities Coordinator of the Basque Centre-Museum of Contemporary Art Artium –; Marina Díaz – Responsible for Cinema and Audiovisual of the Cervantes Institute – and Rosa Zufía –Journalist and  Director of EITB Kultura-Transit TV program–. The decision has been unanimous.

The selection includes the main genres, shown through new perspectives: 5 Segundos by David González, A revenge story by Lander Camarero, Duellum by Tucker Dávila Wood, Foxes by Mikel Gurrea, I said I would never talk about politics by Aitor Oñederra, Lost Village by George Todria and Luz a la deriva by Iñigo Salaberria. Four of them have no dialogues, two of them were shot in English and one in Spanish.

The 18th edition of the Kimuak catalogue will be officially presented in September at the San Sebastian International Film Festival.
