Euskara. Kultura. Mundura.

2015-12-15

Thanks to the joint work between the association Ixuxú Asturies-Euskal Herria Elkartea and the Etxepare Basque Institute, the program Glayíos/Oihuak was created a year ago. This program has allowed performances of five Basque groups and five groups from Asturias outside their territory in 2015.

The tour will come to an end on Friday, December 18 at the music hall La Calleja of Oviedo, with the concert of LA TARRANCHA (ska-fusión)  and  SUAIA ETA LAHAINE (hiphop-reggae).

Glayíos / Oihuak wants to transmit some values such as promoting linguistic diversity or offering equal and transparent treatment to bands and organizers.  This is an innovative project that, in times of systemic crisis, seeks to promote new cultural management models.
