Musikagileak Programme: Trio Zukan + Quasar Saxophone Quartet

The Basque ensemble Trío Zukan and the Quasar Saxophone Quartet from Quebec will be giving a concert on 15 November at 7.30 p.m. at the Jesús Guridi Music Conservatory in Vitoria-Gasteiz.

This is the concert that was performed by the two groups on 20 October at the Historic Chapel of the Good Shepherd in Montreal.

The concert is part of the "Musikagileak" contemporary music circuit and the Saison Québec-Pays Basque 2021-2022 initiative. The performance will feature works by Zuriñe Gerenabarrena, Plez, Emilie Girard-Charest, Mikel Chamizo and Miguel Matamoro. Two of the pieces, "Quantum statistical zero knowledge" by Emilie Girard-Charest and "Concerto Grosso" by Miguel Matamoro, will premiere in the Basque Country.
