Artitsas en Ruta - Neomak

Airu, Neomak and Kulto Kultibo have been chosen to take part in the first round in 2023 of the concert series ´Artistas en Ruta´ (Artists on the Road), organised by AIE.

Neomak will perform in Madrid on 18th March at Teatro del Barrio.

‘Artistas en Ruta’ was created to introduce audiences to new talent. So far, well-known groups and solo artists have taken part in the programme, including Anita Parker, Ekiza, La Furia, Nøgen, Kepa Junkera, Dupla, and Idoia. The concert series is supported by the Etxepare Basque Institute.

Marking a departure from the norm, Neomak combines the traditional organic sound of the Basque trikitixa (diatonic accordion) with electronic tunes based on new technologies. Seven young women turn old traditional stories into new songs, shaking audiences to the core. With the release of their first album, they bring to the stage a unique concert experience. Neomak, which means "new moons" in Greek, named their first album after the band.
