Bogota Film Archive: New Basque Cinema

The ´New Basque Cinema´ series, presented by the Bogota Film Archive in collaboration with the Etxepare Basque Institute, invites you to discover films made in Euskara (the Basque language) in the last decade. The selection of films is based on a simple premise: offer audiences a diversity of approaches, styles and themes. There is no predominate filmmaker or overriding style, but rather multiple perspectives and a wide array of cinematic visions. Most of the films presented are unpublished and deserve to be discovered. The series includes animated films, documentaries, comedies and social dramas.
