"Poeta ibiltariak / Poetes itinerants": recital of Basque and Catalan poetry in Tabakalera

As a result of the collaborative work between the Etxepare Basque Institute and the Institut Ramon Llull , Basque and Catalan poets will offer a bilingual recital on January 15 in Tabakalera Donostia. This recital will be the return trip of the project “Poeta ibiltariak /Poetes itinerants” that gathers poets of both territories: three Basque authors went to Barcelona in May and the Catalan ones will join us in Donostia this week.

The Basque poetry will be represented by RikardoArregi, Iñigo AstizItxaro Borda, while the Catalan poets will be Mireia Calafell, Jordi Juliá and Jordi Llavina.

ÀlexSusanna, director of the Institut Ramon Lull, AizpeaGoenaga, director of the Etxepare Basque Institute and MariJoseOlaziregi, director for the Promotion and Dissemination of the Basque Language will attend the event as well.

The appointment is on Friday, January 15, at 7.30 pm at the headquarters of the Etxepare Basque Institute (3rd floor of the building Tabakalera), with free entry. Join us for a poetry night!
