Euskara. Kultura. Mundura.
Once more, the Basque audiovisual production has traveled to Cannes to attend the Audiovisual Fair MIPTV. 10 Basque companies have taken part in the annual meeting, which brought together nearly 11,000 participants from a hundred different countries. They have had the opportunity to show their own productions at the stand organized by the Etxepare Basque Institute and Eiken: Basque Audiovisual. The participation in this event is an excellent opportunity for Basque production companies to find new funding resources, to stablish joint projects with foreign companies and to open the door to new business ideas.

On the other hand, the producer Pausoka has sold the program Izarrak Kalean to the Turkish public television and the format Mom Vote For Me to a Russian television.
Basque Audiovisual, created by Eiken with the support of the Etxepare Basque Institute, is the group that represents the Basque audiovisual sector to publicize its contents around the world, and this year the following companies have attended MIPTV: Bauleko, Expressive, BBFC, Group Campus, Happymeter, Jok Films, Pausoka, Prime Time and Somuga. EITB has also participated in the fair.
