As the year reaches its halfway point, we’ve published a video that sums up the cultural and artistic programme organised by Etxepare in Scotland in 2019. The aim of this video is to spread the message of #ScotlandGoesBasque to a wider audience, giving voice to the real protagonists of the project: the artists themselves.

In fact, the common thread of the video are some of the artists that have and will participate in this programme; they tell us what it means to them to be part of this project. The artists that feature in the video are (in order of appearance): Harkaitz Martinez and Mikel Ugarte, members of the band Oreka TX; María Martín, founder of the Krego-Martín dance company; writer Iban Zaldua; and Maylis Arrabit, Xabier Madina and Ebi Soria, members of the dance and theatre company HQPC (Habrá Que Ponerse Cachas).
