The Basque Cinema, awarded at the Goya

Basque Cinema has been widely recognized at the 28th Goya Awards. Las brujas de Zugarramundi by Alex de la Iglesia, got eight awards:  best Artistic Direction, Costume Design, Film Editing, Sound, Supporting Actress, Production Direction, Special Effects and best Make Up and Hairdressing. La Herida, produced by Koldo Zuazua, got the Best Actress and New Director awards. The Best Short Documentary film was Minerita , directed by Raúl de la Fuente, and Gaizka Urresti´s Abstenerse agencias was rewarded with the Best Fiction Short Film award.
