Thanks to the Etxepare Basque Institute, in collaboration with the Delegation of Euskadi for the European Union, the Basque comic participates for the second time in the Fête de la BD / Strip Feest Comic Festival of Brussels, from 2 to 4 September. This participation is carried out in partnership with the National Institutes of Culture that are part of the EUNIC European network; the Etxepare Institute came to be associated with the network in January 2015.

The international meeting in Brussels is, together with the festival in the French city of Angouleme, one of the most important on the international scene. And it will have a specific space dedicated to Basque comic in the International Pavilion, in the Park of Brussels (Place des Palais), with the creators Gregorio Muro and Adur Larrea, whose work will be displayed.

The large audience and industry professionals and editors will have the opportunity to know the wide production and creativity of the Basque sector of comics and to participate in the workshop with Basque artists organized on Sunday 4. On the other hand, the Basque creators will attend meetings with other professionals and international publishers who have already shown interest in the Basque comic.
