The Basque Zamaltzaina and the Polish Lajkonik meet in Krakovia

The Basque dance group from Eibar Kezka Dantza Taldea has visited Krakovia (Poland) in order to participate in a meeting between the Zuberoa folklore character Zamaltzain and the Lajkonik from Krakovia. The meeting was organized thanks to the Museum of History of Krakovia, that is showing an exhibition, -"The world of Lajkonik, the world of zaldiko"- where similar figures from all over Europe and the rest of the world can be seen. Among all of them, they highlight the Basque Zamaltzain, and that is the rason why they invited the Kezka Dance Taldea group to bring the caracter into life in Krakovia.
