The group Kalakan in the EXIB Iberoamerican music festival

The Iberoamerican music festival EXIB 2016 comes with its third edition, and will be held in Évora (Portugal), in May 4-7. The Basque group Kalakan will offer a concert with the support of Etxepare Basque Institute.

Furthermore, they will organize a forum dedicated to Iberoamerican minority languages, putting special attention in musical industry; the Basque musician Fran Lasuen will  represent the Basque musical culture.

The aim of this festival is to promote the music, to establish commitment with the contents, the diversity, and to exchange services of industry and valorate the contribution of music source. By the way, the expo wants to become into a place that collects the reality of Iberoamerican music, its last tendencies, the style and different identities; also wants to propose new altenatives, strengthen the dialogue and help to design strategies.

The visitor will find music showcases, discussions, work tables, special concerts and conferences. Thus, the festival is directed to everyone who has special connection with the music industry, to new talents, music companies, musical researchers and producers.
