The festival Fest´arts of Libourne will be held from 7 to 9 August and, as always, will be attended by some Basque companies among its participants. This year, they will present the show "Danbor talka", created by the Basque company Deabru Beltzak and the French Les Commandos Percu. The Lekeitio International Street Theater Festival and the Fest´arts Libourne have produced this show, created through the mediation of the Etxepare Basque Institute. The show will be performed on August 8 at 22:30 at the Place d´armes de L´esog.

"Danbor talka" exhibition mixes fire and percussion, and was also shown at the Lekeitio International Street Theatre Festival in July. Three other Basque companies also taking part in the Fest´arts:  En La Lona, Ertza and Organik.

Since 2011, The Etxepare Institute has worked together with the Libourne with the aim of launching the Basque street theatre abroad. The Fest’Arts is a reference for Europe in these terms, so has been the result of this collaboration: the French festival has become a relevant showcase for the Basque productions.
