The XXIV. Poetry Translation Seminar will gather Basque and Catalan poets and translators

From November 20 to 23, the XXIV Poetry Translation Seminar will be held at the Center for Art and Nature of Farrera de Pallars, organized by the ILC (Institució de les Lletres Catalanes )with the collaboration of the Etxepare Basque Institute. This 24th edition of the seminar will gather Basque and Catalan poets and translators in the Catalan Pyrenees, after having gathered poets from different countries in other editions.
The seminar will bring together the Basque poets Karlos Linazasoro and Tere Irastortza, the Catalans Francesc Parcerisas, Hilari de Cara, Marta Pérez Sierra, Míriam Cano eta Joan Navarro and the translators Pau Joan Hernàndez, Aritz Galarraga, Gerardo Markuleta and Daniel Escribano.
Together, they share three days dedicated to the poetic translation in a place that calls for reflection. Also, on Tuesday November 24, there will be a presentation of the seminar and a reading of the translated poems at the Faculty of Arts of the Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona, in the Basque language and Culture Readership coordinated by Professor Aritz Galarraga.
