Trois-Rivieres International Poetry Festival: Itxaro Borda

On 1-2 October, writer Itxaro Borda will take part in the Trois-Rivières International Poetry Festival  thanks to the Saison Québec - Pays Basque cultural exchange initiative. Held every autumn, the poetry festival, will take place this year from 30 September to 9 October and will include both Quebecois and international writers.

Borda´s contribution will begin with a round table discussion on 1 October in the Louis-Philippe-Poisson hall of the cultural centre. Itxaro Borda, Francisca Ricinski and Antonio Rodríguez will analyse international poetry through the reading of several poems. The event will be moderated by Stéphane Despatie.

The following day, 2 October, at 12 noon, Borda will take part in the poetry colloquium at the Zénob café alongside writers Antonio Rodríguez, Dominique Sorrente and Alycia Dufour. Following the colloquium, at 5pm there will be a musical poetry recital in the Foyer of the Maison de la Culture with writers Taja Kramberger, Antonio Rodriguez and Alycia Dufour.
